Jetset Spanish is a video language course created by Rocket Spanish creator Mauricio Evlampieff.

As mentioned, it is purely video based. There is no writing things down or doing rote routines to learn grammar or verb conjugation. You simply listen to what is going on in the video and take it in. In most cases you are asked to repeat what is said. Or in some cases, questions are asked of you as if you involved in the conversation.

In fact, this is how the lessons are structured. You meet a girl on a plane and she befriends you and offers to show you round Mexico city. She introduces you to her friends and takes you to various places where you get a chance to speak Spanish. So from time to time , the characters in the video will look out to the screen (at you) and ask you questions.

This will prompt you to speak Spanish and practice what is being said. There are also recaps or summaries of each scene where an English speaking narrator takes you through what happened in the scene. He talks about the verbs, nouns, adjectives and such like that were covered. He sometimes also gives some background to what is happening in a scene from a cultural perspective that might be different to what an English speaking person might be used to.

The course comprises 15 lessons which start from the meeting on the plane and lead you through booking hotel rooms, going to a party, shopping at a market, ordering and eating at a restaurant and a host of other things that you may do in a Spanish speaking country as a tourist.

In fact, you could use these skills in parts of your own country where Spanish is more prevalent than English.

The course can be viewed on a PC or a Mac computer. It can be downloaded and you are also given a hard copy delivered by mail. This means you can actually be using the software within about 1-2 hours of purchase.

And an even better way to experience this software is to try it for free before you buy. You can download the third lesson for free by filling in the form above. This will give you a taster of what you can expect from the course and whether it is a good fit for your needs.
